Edel Gardner, Humanities graduate, has travelled the world developing her passion for film and other visual mediums. From freelance photography in Berlin to her first feature film in Colombia. Now based in London she works regularly in the lighting department of the UK film industry as gaffer or lighting technician. Edel has worked on various films and tv series including ENOLA HOLMES, THE NEST, SAINT MAUD, and Five Fifty Five projects such as STILLNESS, WHIRLPOOL and ADIDAS advertisements. Edel enjoys volunteering when she can, in such projects as the Sante Refugee Mental Health Access Project Befriending scheme which supports asylum seekers and refugees and CUTIT which is a crew-led action for the climate emergency.
