A Case Study: Prioritising Survival in Storytelling
In solidarity with Amazon Indigenous, we supported the establishment of thethe Parliamentary Amazon Commission
In the face of fires destroying plants that maintained Indigenous health in the Amazon and then COVID wiping out large groups from tribes, we prioritised the protection of our media partners through funding Amazonian Indigenous Chief, Raoni Metuktire's tour to th UK to rally support to protect the Amazon. Raoni Metuktire presented at Portcullis House regarding the threat to the Amazonian indigenous community and the forest itself. The tour resulted in the creation of the bi-partisan Parliamentary Amazon Commission with its purpose to protect the Amazonian people and forest.

Man-made fires in the Amazon blaze hotter, larger and more frequently as Brazilian president Bolsonaro committed to raze 50% of the Amazon forest to the ground by 2021.
The Indigenous tribes of the Xingu Basin held a summit in January 2020 which Kate Baxter attended and filmed, and now works with Director Takumã Kuikuro in continuing their story.
