Writer and Director, Stripped
A 2018 Summer Intern at Five Fifty Five, Joëlle dove headlong into London's independent film industry to make her first independent short titled Stripped – a short Jewish family drama. Everything went wrong. It was Glorious.
During 2019, Dong researched colonialism and racial hybridity in Hong Kong on an Edward F. Guiliano Fellowship. She is an A.B candidate in Comparative Literature at Brown University, writing her thesis on the Anglo-French literary representation of China.
